WorcAGO gathers the first Thursday of every month (unless cancelled/postponed) to meet each other and chat about goings-on, music, church worklife, and share ideas and music. Each person pays her/his own tab (altho usually there’s one check for the table to be kind to the server) and any overage (usually a few bucks) is routed to our Scholarship Fund.  It’s helpful but not required to RSVP  so we can reserve a table appropriately. On average about 8 people attend, which is a good size for group conversations.

We meet at     Oak Barrel Tavern,     229 Grove St,    Worcester,   where there is easy/ample parking, and a variety of menu options (incl vegetarian and gluten-free).  Oak Barrel (formerly Tweeds) is centrally located and the staff knows us and is very accommodating.

Some months, there’s a featured topic for conversation (e.g., favorite seasonal choral titles, organ service music, how to handle difficult choir members) and we sometimes bring free/give-away music scores.
